- The "Winter" pricing follows the Wintergreen ski season. This year it runs from December 12, 2009 through March 14, 2010. (From March 15-21, day skiing will still be available, but not night. We are dropping to our "off-season" prices for that week.)
- Two night minimum (3 on holidays)
- A one-time $150 departure cleaning fee will be added to each bill
- A security deposit of $250 is required, and will be fully returned after a post-rental inspection
- Starting in April, 2009, 20% of your rent helps the poor help themselves. Click here for more details!
- Payment can be made by sending us a check, or over the Internet by using a credit card (we use PayPal).
- All prices subject to change without notice.

Directions to Wintergreen from...
North Carolina South East Blue Ridge Parkway Washington, DC North/East of DC West
Note: Some of these directions we have done ourselves; others we have copied from other people. We try to keep them as up-to-date and accurate as possible: if you encounter a problem or know a better route, please let us know!
Directions from central North Carolina (Triangle and Triad areas)
- Take I-40 to Exit #261. This exit, which is 4 miles West of the I-86 exit, is simply marked "Hillsborough." At the bottom of the ramp, turn right (if you were heading West on 40). Soon you will cross I-85 and head into downtown Hillsborough (don't blink or you'll miss it). You are now heading North on 86.
- 30 miles after you left I-40, you will turn right in order to stay on 86.
- 11 miles later, shortly after you cross into Virginia, turn right onto 29, the Danville Expressway.
- For the next 87 miles, you will stay on 29. (This will require a turn or two.) Then you will come to the easily-missed intersection (no light or stop sign) with 151. (The last time I did this, there was a BP on the left and an Exxon on the right.) Turn left onto 151.
- Now you roam around 151, aka the Patrick Henry Highway, for 20 miles...up the mountain, through Brent's Gap, and back down the mountain. When you see the Ski Barn on your left, turn left onto 664, aka Beech Grove Rd. You're almost there!
- 4 miles later, turn right at the huge glowing sign that says "Wintergreen."
The whole trip takes about 3 hours from the time you leave I-40, plus any time for stops along the way.
Directions from the South / US 29
- Take US 29 North, and follow the directions above.
Directions from the East / Charlottesville / I-64 West
- Head on I-64 to Exit #107. (This is one of the many, many exits for US 250. It is labeled "Crozet." If you look carefully, there is also a sign that says "Wintergreen Ski Resort," but it's easy to miss.) Go West on US 250.
- After 5 miles, turn left on VA 151. (Once again, there is a subtle sign to Wintergreen.)
- After 14 miles, you will see the Ski Barn on your right. Turn right onto 664, aka Beech Grove Rd. You're almost there!
- 4 miles later, turn right at the huge glowing sign that says "Wintergreen."
Directions from the Blue Ridge Parkway
- Take Reeds Gap exit (between milepost 13 and 14) to Route 664 East
- After about a mile, turn left at the huge glowing sign that says "Wintergreen."
